TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Soul & Skin, operating from a private home-based studio.
By booking an appointment, clients agree to these terms.
2. Client Eligibility & Health Disclosure
Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, and skin sensitivities before treatments.
The business is not responsible for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed health information.
Certain conditions may require postponing or refusing treatment (e.g., contagious skin conditions, recent surgeries, infections, open wounds, illness).
3. Booking & Payments
Appointments require deposit of 50% upon booking.
Remaining balances must be paid at the appointment by cash or bank transfer.
Prices may change at any time, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.
4. Cancellations, Lateness & No-Shows
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment time.
Late cancellations or no-shows will result in loss of deposit
Arriving more than 10 minutes late may reduce treatment time or require rescheduling, with fees applied.
5. Home-Based Studio Rules
For safety and hygiene, no additional guests or children are allowed unless pre-approved.
Clients must follow all hygiene rules provided by the practitioner.
The practitioner reserves the right to refuse service if a client behaves inappropriately or arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
6. Liability Waiver
All services are non-medical, cosmetic, and holistic in nature.
They do not replace medical treatment or diagnosis.
The client acknowledges that:
Results vary by individual skin type and lifestyle.
Temporary redness, sensitivity, or irritation can occur.
The business is not liable for:
Reactions caused by client use of external products before or after treatment.
Adverse reactions due to undisclosed medical information.
Loss or damage to personal items brought into the studio.
7. Patch Testing (if applicable)
Certain treatments require a patch test 24–48 hours in advance.
Refusal to undergo a patch test may result in service refusal.
8. Aftercare Responsibilities
Aftercare instructions will be provided.
The client is responsible for following aftercare.
Failure to follow aftercare voids responsibility for adverse outcomes.
9. Refunds & Guarantees
No refunds are issued for completed treatments.
Services are provided based on professional standards, but specific results cannot be guaranteed.
10. Privacy & Confidentiality
All client information is kept confidential and used only for treatment and booking purposes.
Photos taken for progress tracking or marketing will only be used with written consent.
11. Safety & COVID/Illness Policy
Clients must reschedule if they are unwell, contagious, or experiencing symptoms of flu, fever, or infection.
The practitioner may refuse treatment if the client appears ill.
12. Agreement
By booking a service, the client confirms that:
They have read, understood, and agree to all Terms & Conditions.
They consent to treatment at their own risk and responsibility.
